Residential: Available to consumers of the Cooperative for all farms, homes, village, school, church and community hall uses subject to its established rules and regulations. The capacity of individual motors served under this schedule may not exceed ten (10) horsepower, unless approved by the Cooperative. Schools, churches and community halls that require more than 15 kva of transformer capacity or three-phase service will be served under Large Commercial.

Irrigation: Single phase or three phase at standard secondary voltages is available for irrigation pumps located adjacent to the Cooperative’s lines during the months of May through September, provided the Cooperative has sufficient available capacity, all subject to its established rules and regulations. The consumer shall agree to maintain a power factor of not less than 80%. Should measurements indicate that the power factor of the service is less than 80%, the consumer agrees, upon sixty days written notice to correct such power factor to 80%. The Cooperative shall determine the connected horsepower by nameplate rating of the motors, or at its option, by test under conditions of maximum operating load. Motors having a rated capacity in excess of ten (10) horsepower must be three phase, unless otherwise approved by the Cooperative. All wiring, pole lines, and other electrical equipment beyond the service point will be considered the distribution system of the consumer and shall be furnished and maintained by the consumer.

Small Commercial: Available to consumers of the Cooperative for single phase commercial, industrial and farm uses all subject to its established rules and regulations. Motors having a rated capacity in excess of ten (10) horsepower must be three phase unless otherwise approved by the Cooperative. Consumers having their homes on the same premises with their business establishments may include service to both on the same meter, in which case all service will be billed under this schedule, using the current billing rate. If the consumer prefers, he may make a provision for two meters, in which case his usage for residential purposes will be billed under the appropriate residential schedule, and his usage for business purposes will be billed under this schedule. All commercial services will be demand metered if the kva requirement is in excess of 25 kva and/or kilowatt hour usage is more than 2,200 kwh per month. The billing demand shall be the maximum average kilowatt load used for any period of fifteen (15) consecutive minutes during the month for which the bill is rendered as recorded by a demand meter.

Large Commercial: Available to consumers of the Cooperative for single phase commercial, industrial and farm uses all subject to its established rules and regulations. Motors having a rated capacity in excess of ten (10) horsepower must be three phase unless otherwise approved by the Cooperative. The billing demand shall be the maximum average kilowatt load used for any period of fifteen (15) consecutive minutes during the month for which the bill is rendered as recorded by a demand meter.
